The following is a summary of the points that Pastor Bob Lehn as he preached his message on the Blessings of Fearing God...
What Does "Fearing God" Mean?
Fearing God is to have reverence for God; having a deep respect and awe of Him. Fearing God cleanses out love of sin:
Psalm 19:9: The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.
Fearing God is a biblical command:
Deuteronomy 10:12: And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
It is sin and disobedience if you do not fear God
Jeremiah 2:19: Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that [it is] an evil [thing] and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear [is] not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
God blesses those who fear Him.
Psalm 112:1: Praise ye the LORD. Blessed [is] the man [that] feareth the LORD, [that] delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Psalm 128:1: A Song of degrees. Blessed [is] every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
Psalm 128:4: Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
Deuteronomy 6:24: And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as [it is] at this day.

Salvation is a free gift of God. The death of Christ on the cross is the only sufficient payment for our sins. All have sinned, but all can be saved. This salvation is available for any who puts their trust in Christ as Savior and follows Him (Romans 3:23, 6:23; John 3:16).
